Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses Knockt. It exists to keep the service safe, lawful, and reliable for every team on it. It works alongside our Terms of Service; a violation of this policy is a violation of the Terms.

• Use Knockt for anything illegal, or to violate the rights of others.
• Attempt to access another company’s workspace, data, or account.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach security or authentication, without our written permission.
• Upload malware, or use the service to distribute harmful or deceptive code.
• Scrape, harvest, or use automated means to access the service in a way that degrades it for others, or exceed documented rate limits.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent who logged a sale or who is owed commission.
• Store personal or sensitive data you are not authorized to process, or data beyond what the service is intended to hold.
• Circumvent billing, seat limits, or usage metering.
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data your team enters, for keeping login credentials secure, and for the conduct of users in your workspace. Commission and payout records are only as good as the inputs — Knockt calculates faithfully on what you log.

Don’t take actions that place an unreasonable load on the service or interfere with other customers’ use of it. We may apply technical limits to protect reliability for everyone.

If we believe this policy has been violated, we may warn you, throttle or suspend access, or — for serious or repeated violations — terminate the account, consistent with our Terms. Where the violation poses an immediate risk to the service or others, we may act without prior notice.
