Knockt

Our story

The commission spreadsheet, rebuilt right.

“It wasn’t a one-off problem. It’s how most field sales teams run: a spreadsheet held together with hope, doing the most important job in the business — paying reps correctly.”

Knockt started with a door-to-door fiber team and one very fragile spreadsheet. Our founder knocked doors for a season, became friends with the sales manager, and — even after moving on — kept getting the call whenever the team’s sales tracker broke.

A deleted row here, a busted formula there, and every month the commission math had to be rebuilt by hand. It wasn’t a one-off problem. It’s how most field sales teams run: a spreadsheet held together with hope, doing the most important job in the business — paying reps correctly.

Knockt is that spreadsheet rebuilt the right way: a live tracker and commission engine made for the reps and managers who actually live in it.

Built on accountability

Reliability here isn’t a slogan. It’s a background.

Before Knockt, our founder spent years in roles where an inaccurate record wasn’t a typo — it was a problem. He dispatched 911 calls, prioritizing emergencies in real time and logging every one as it happened. He served as a police officer, writing reports that had to hold up. He ran IT support, documenting every fix so the next person could trust it.

911 dispatch

Log it accurately, in real time, while everything is still moving.

Police work

Keep records that hold up. A wrong one carries real consequences.

IT support

Document every fix so the next person can trust what happened.

That’s the standard Knockt holds your commission to. Every sale, split, and clawback is recorded as it happens, kept in an audit trail nobody can quietly edit, and calculated the same way every time. Reps get paid right — and can see exactly why.

What we believe

Principles we build by.

01

Commission should never be wrong

Getting paid right is the foundation of trust on a sales team. The math should be automatic, transparent, and impossible to fat-finger.

02

Reps deserve to see their numbers

Motivation comes from knowing exactly where you stand and what the next sale pays. That shouldn't live in a file only the manager can open.

03

It has to work in the field

Reps are standing on a porch, not at a desk. If it isn't fast on a phone, it won't get used.

04

Simple beats clever every time

Field sales software should get out of the way. No onboarding calls, no implementation fees — just a tool your team actually opens.
